  • A concept developed by Larry Schultz in the 1980’s. Rocket is derived from the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system and follows the classic structure of sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses and closing postures. But, the Rocket system remixed and redesigned the Ashtanga Series breaking all the ‘rules’ to create three intelligent sequences: Rocket 1, 2 & 3.

    Rocket offers the freedom for modification and interpretation to the traditional poses. A fast paced, light-hearted, high energy practice with space to learn and play. Breath led and rhythmic, the Rocket builds heat, strength and awareness in body and mind.

  • Creating a moving meditation, Vinyasa can be offered as a faster tempo, strong, dynamic practice or a slower and more gentle flow. Expect variation in sequencing each time you step on to your mat, but to consistently step off your mat feeling energised and revitalised with Yang energy. Dynamic practices offer optional variations and progressions to poses, including optional inversions, arm balances and tricky transitions.

  • Vinyasa means “to place in a special way”. A Creative yoga sequence where poses are strung together into a continuous flowing motion. Moving and transitioning from one pose to the next, consciously using the breath to place the body into the postures.

  • As counter to the yang energy of the vinyasa movement styles, Yin yoga offers a gentle, introspective practice consisting of long passive holds (3-5 minutes) in each posture. Think work-in rather than work-out.

    It is a deeply restorative, rejuvenating, meditative style. Prolonged stillness allows the body to access deep release in the connective tissue, an area rarely targeted otherwise. A practice that creates space and flexibility in both body and mind and nourishes the soul.

Workshops

An extended and more immersive experience aimed at tackling challenging asana (poses), tricky transitions or to delve into a specific style, topic or theme. Expect to deep dive into the practice expanding your knowing and learning tips, tricks, skills and drills to take away and implement in your personal practice.
